Brad Harris gives Civic Type R TCR its latest victory in Australia

Brad Harris became the latest winner for the Honda Civic Type R TCR family with a storming maiden victory in TCR Australia at Queensland Raceway.

The Wall Racing driver, who was taking part in only his third TCR event, started from pole position on Race Two's partially-reversed grid and showed incredible determination to resist huge pressure from behind to register his first win.

He added third place in the finale with an equally impressive drive aboard his JAS Motorsport-built car.

Reigning champion Tony D'Alberto, driving the sister car, scored an excellent second-place finish in Race One after moving up from third on the grid.

He was seventh in Race Two and fourth on the road in the finale to take a large chunk out of the gap to the points leader, but a 10-second penalty for early contact dropped him back to 10th in the results.

D'Alberto holds fifth place in the championship standings with three events left.
