Civic Type R TCR scores first win of 2026 in Panama

The Honda Civic Type R TCR scored its first victory of 2026 as TCR Panama kicked off at Autodromo Panama.

Alpha Racing’s Rodrigo Pflucker was the winning driver in the opening race of the season as he steered his JAS Motorsport-built car from second place on the grid into the lead by two-thirds distance and pulled away to victory.

An incident in Sunday morning warm-up for the Peruvian’s co-driver, Alberto Pinto, meant the car was unable to start either of the remaining races.

ART’s Gianni Alessandria scored a best result of fourth in Race Two after battling from the back of the field following a slow start. He was fifth and seventh in the other two races.
