Four-star success for Honda Civic Type R TCR in USA and Europe

Four superb victories for the Honda Civic Type R on both sides of the Atlantic and a podium for the NSX GT3 Evo 22 made it another successful weekend for JAS Motorsport-built racing cars.

IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge

Montreal Motorsport Group's Louis Philippe Montour and Karl Wittmer scored their first TCR win of 2025 with a dominant performance at Watkins Glen with their Civic Type R TCR.

Montour scored the car's second pole position of the season and led the opening stint, but a safety car at half-distance compressed the field and led to a cramped pitlane as most teams effected their driver changes.

Emerging third, Wittmer seized the lead with 40 minutes left and sped off to a win that elevated the duo to third in the championship and Honda to second in the Manufacturers' points.

HART's Tyler Chambers and Chad Gilsinger were fourth with KMW Motorsports with TMR Engineering duo William Tally and Tim Lewis Jr sixth.

TCR Denmark

Le Mans legend Jan Magnussen rebounded from a non-finish in the Ring Djursland opener to score his first win of the year with DM Racing.

The ex-Formula 1 driver added fourth in the finale while his team-mate, Lars Hojris, scored victory in the Am class in Race Two, making it a double success for the DM team.

TPR Motorsport's Mike Halder qualified on overall pole position and won the other two races to move into a 15-point series lead over Mascot Motorsport with Racegroup's Malte Ebdrup, who was second twice and fourth in the reversed-grid race.

Ebdrup was victorious in the Under-25s category in all three races, ahead of SD+ Racing's Mathias Dall. Ebdrup's team-mate, the reigning champion Kasper H Jensen, took two thirds and a second and remains in title contention.

TPR's Rene Povlsen continues to lead Hojris in the Am points after a double category win. Magnus Dall (SD+) was third in class in two of the races.

TCR Italy

Michal Bartoszuk scored his first Rookie class win - and his first overall podium finish - at Monza with a superb performance at Monza on Sunday in his MM Motorsport Civic Type R TCR.

His team-mate Marco Pellegrini led the race until suffering a puncture at one-third distance and heading to the pits. Bartoszuk was only ninth at that stage, but battled through to reach a podium result. He is tied for the lead of the Rookie points.

Pellegrini fought back to third in the Master class in a drive similar to that of his in Race One. After stalling on the line, he recovered to second in class and ninth overall. Jacopo Cimenes was third in the Under-25s division and took a best outright result of fourth.

Kumho FIA TCR World Tour

Ignacio Montenegro took a pair of top-five finishes for GOAT Racing on a weekend dominated by punctures at Monza.

The young Argentinian was fourth and fifth in the two races with his formerly points-leading team-mate, Esteban Guerrieri, producing the drive of Saturday's race to climb from 15th on the grid to fifth in the race.

He was seventh on Sunday, one spot ahead of team-mate Marco Butti, whose opener was puncture-affected, just as both of Felipe Fernandez races were. MM Motorsport's Jacopo Cimenes went from a pitlane start to eighth in Race One.

ALM Motorsport were another team to endure tyre woes as both Ruben Volt and Leonel Pernia suffered punctures in both races while running strongly; Volt having superbly recovered after being spun around at the first corner.

British GT Championship

Bridger Motorsport duo Johnny Ip and Jay Bridger made it five Silver-Am podiums from five races this year as the series travelled to Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.

The NSX GT3 Evo 22 duo qualified second and, after Ip had led the class through most of the opening stint, finished there too to remain second in the points table with three rounds to go.

Italian GT Championship

The second round of the endurance series was held at Monza with Nova Race fielding a pair of NSX GT3 Evo 25s.

Luca Magnoni, Andrea Bodellini and Paolo Rocca missed qualifying and so started from the back of the GT3 field, but climbed the order steadily and finished the three-hour race fourth in the Am class.

Giovanni Berton made swift early progress to rise from ninth in Pro-Am to fourth in class in the sister car he shared with Francesco de Luca and Rodolfo Massaro. Sadly an issue ended their race in the second hour.
