Front-row lock-out for Civic Type R TCR in IMPC
The Honda Civic Type R TCR claimed another front-row lock-out in the latest round of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge at Road America as all four crews campaigning the JAS Motorsport-built car finished in the TCR top 10.
Louis Philippe Montour scored the car’s fifth TCR pole from seven races and Montreal Motorsport Group’s third, while Rocco Pasquarella completed the all-Honda front row.
Badly timed safety cars restricted them to fourth and sixth while impressive recovery drives from Pegram Racing and HART were also features of the race.
