IRC ? SATA ACORES RALLYE: BAD LUCK FOR MENYHERT ?MENYA? KROZSER

The Sata A?ores Rally, the first round of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge, ended in disappointment for the Hungarian Honda crew Menyhert Krozser and his co-driver Gyorgy Papp, who were forced to retire on the second day.

Menyhert ?Menya? Krozser, at the wheel of the MHH Eurosol-Honda Civic Type R, had finished the first day in second position, behind leader Harry Hunt. In the first stage of leg 2, the Britain went off and the Hungarian took over the leader board in the 2WD Cup. But in the 6th Special Stage, all went wrong for Menyhert Krozser.

?In the middle of the stage, one of the drive shafts broke. Until that moment, the car felt superb. We were convinced that we could challenge for a podium finish and valuable points for Honda in the Manufacturers Cup?, said the disappointed Hungarian.

The next round of the IRC is the Rally Islas Canarias El Corte Ingles on March 15, 16 and 17.
